The Challenge

This GMC Dealership was running out of space for specialty tools. Each new model of vehicle required a proprietary tool kit, and each kit was very expensive. They required quick, secure access to the tools so they had to be stored on site, but also needed to be locked up when not in use.

The Solution

A Mizer Quicksilver lateral mobile was the perfect solution, it compacted the storage into a smaller footprint while still allowing near instant access when needed. The existing shelving was mounted onto the carriages, which made use of the previous investment. Capacity was increased by 70% by using existing aisle space. Renovations were not required, and the tools were stored securely, accessibly, and economically on site.
