Are prices in US or Canadian Dollars?

All prices are in Canadian Currency.

Where do you ship to?

You can order online to be shipped anywhere in Canada or the USA.  Please call us at 1-604-668-8380 if you would like to order from another country.  Note that orders to the USA will include a brokerage fee in the shipping price calculated.

How fast do you ship?

For in-stock orders placed before 10am Pacific Time, we will work hard to try to ship the same same day, otherwise we will ship the next business day. If your product is not in stock we will contact you to verify that you are ok with the proposed ship date before we ship the product to you.

Has my order shipped, how can I track it?

After the order has shipped you will get an email notification with a tracking number that you can click to check the status of your order. If you login to your account and look at a specific order in your order history, your tracking number will be listed there as well. We also have a page where you can track orders from any carrier.

Do I have to pay by credit card, I have an existing account?

No you don't if you already have an account with Acme Visible.  Please make sure you enter your company name during the checkout process and optionally your account number (if you know it) in the "Add Note" section of the "Your Shopping Cart" page.  Select "On Account" as your payment option and we will have you sign off on your order before we fulfill it.

Can I order shelving and storage products online?

Not at this time, just filing supplies.

I would like to customize my file folders by adding fasteners, how do I order these?

When viewing the specific product you would like, first select the size, colour, and quantity of folders you would like, then click on the "Add Factory Installed Fasteners" check-box underneath the product photo.  A graphic will appear that allows you to mouse click where you would like to have the fasteners placed.   Click add-to-cart when finished and the total cost of the order will be automatically calculated in your shopping cart.  At a later date (if you have created an account) you can view your account and quickly re-order the exact same folders and fasteners by viewing a past order and then using the re-order option.

In the past I have had better pricing from you than what I see online?

For on-account orders with pre-established pricing, your order total will be adjusted upon processing.  Pick "On-Account" as your payment method in the final step of the checkout process.

Can you send me a single sample of a folder, label, etc.?

Yes and it's free. Pick the products you want in the filing supplies area and click the "order a free sample" button. The item will show in your cart as free. In your shopping cart click the "note" button to clarify exactly what you want a sample of.  When you checkout your shopping cart select Canada Post as the shipping option and we will mail you the sample at no cost. If you need a sample couriered to you please call us to make arrangements but there may be shipping surcharge.   Acme Visible reserves the right to limit the number of free samples we send out to a specific customer at our sole discretion.

How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?

You can update quantities directly in your shopping cart and you can remove items by clicking the trash item in your cart.  If you have already ordered please call us at 1-604-668-8380 immediately and we can make adjustments to your order so long as it has not already shipped.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Canadian orders may be subject to PST, GST and HST depending on the province you reside.   Taxes are automatically calculated based on the address we ship to.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged upon receipt of your order.  Orders are usually shipped the next business day after we receive them.  If your item is custom or out of stock we will confirm the projected ship date with you and your credit card payment will act as the deposit for the order.  If the projected ship date is not suitable we will promptly refund your credit card and cancel your order.

How do I use a coupon or discount code?

Occasionally we may offer promotional coupons / discount codes.  You enter the code in the "discount code" field on the last payment screen during the shopping cart checkout process.  Your order total will re-calculate automatically.   The discount code field will not display if there are no active promotions.

How do I re-order what I ordered last time online?

Click the re-order button in the top right of the web page.   Login to your account and look at your order history.   Once you find the previous order that you want to re-order, click on the order number to view the order.  At the bottom of this view there is a button called "Make a Re-order."   If your previous order was by phone or fax you will have to first create an order online so that you can re-order it quickly in the future.

What web browser does Acme's website support?

The website will work well with most newer browsers but older browsers like Internet Explorer 8 or 9 will need to be upgraded to display content properly. This is also important because older web browsers pose a huge security risk to you. Viruses and spyware typically gain access to your computer through older web browser technology.
